記憶力は低下しない！
なんと、EveryPreciousThingsさんのブログで知ったのですが
記憶力は年齢とは関係なく訓練し続ければいくらでも伸びる。という事らしいです！
興味のある方は氏のホームページを参照してみてください。
しかし、ここにある8時間が最適という数値。
もっとも長寿を目指す理想的な睡眠時間7時間と比べてもそれほど差はないですね。
13Hzさん、ドルフィンチェッカーさんのブログでまとめられていますが
7時間からはずれればはずれるほど寿命は短くなっていくそうです。
しかし、そこまで長寿に固執するのでなければ
記憶力向上にもっとも効果が高く、健康維持的にも8時間くらい睡眠にあてるのがよさそうですね。(´∇｀)
僕の解釈では
おそらく記憶力が低下していく原因は年齢によるものではなく
子供の頃はあったはずの好奇心が社会人になり、退屈な日常の中で段々と失われていく事で
無関心な毎日を送るようになり、脳の活性化が妨げられる。という事なのではないでしょうか。
という事で、いつまでも記憶力（脳を活発に）を維持したい方は毎日を楽しめるような何かをしましょう。
なんにでも好奇心を持ち、冒険を恐れずになんにでもチャレンジしましょう。

記憶力についてはおもしろいですね。
いままでの一般常識が、覆される事が最近多いように思います。
最近では食物繊維と大腸癌の関係も話題に上って興味深かったです。
